Fort Cafe The Battery
Fort Café De Batterie is located in the freely accessible part of the fort. Pause over a drink, soak up the sun along the fort moat or admire the surroundings from the rooftop terrace. The café is known for its extensive beer menu. In the afternoon, it also serves small snacks.
Heritage Lodge
Spend the night at the fort? You can! Fort Liezele has two guest rooms, each for a maximum of 4 persons. The rooms are furnished with authentic objects from the fort, but offer contemporary sleeping comfort. The fort café serves breakfast.
Escaperooms
Fancy a challenge? A team-building idea? The fort features three escape rooms. An ideal diversion for adventurers who want to put their detective and escape skills to the test. The three rooms have various themes and the fort's history is also covered.
Renting space?
The fort features a projection room with modern technology that can accommodate up to 54 people. Or are you looking for an exhibition space? Two pop-up rooms are available in the freely accessible area, which can be rented for short or long periods of time.
Museum shop and tourist information point
Those who want to explore the area can pick up tourist info at the information pavilion. You can buy tickets for a museum visit there, or pick up a nice souvenir or beer package.
You can also ask the desk clerk there for advice on the tourist and culinary assets of the region.
Accessibility
Fort Liezele is located on the Fortbaan 2 in Puurs-Sint-Amands, in the middle of the Park Fort Liezele. The access road is near Restaurant Broox. Parking is available in the space parking in front, along the Molenstraat. A short walk brings you to the information pavilion and the entrance to the fort.
It is allowed to bring less mobile persons by car up to the info pavilion. However, it is not possible to leave cars outside the designated parking zones.
